Ways to avoid hexs?
Im farming gargoyles and the one thing that really causes me trouble is the hexs that the gargoyles cast, and I cant think of any way to effectively stop them from doing it, or atleast get some bonus from having them do it to me. Any ideas?

Well.. for different builds theres some:
R/Me - Hex breaker, Inspired Hex
R/Mo - Spellbreaker, Smite Hex
R/W - None
R/N - None that I know of
R/E - Obsidian Flesh
So.. If you want to deal with hexes, switch to R/Mo, R/Me or R/E.
Or you can use Melandru's Resilence and take advantage of hexes and conditions.

Well... I can kill these gargoyles in 2-3 hits, so i was hoping for something that would just stop the hexs for working, does obsidian flesh do that? None of the skills that deal damage relating to this do enough.

Obsidian Flesh from elementalist side stops hexes, Spellbreaker from monk side does too, but you need primary monk just for it to last a decent time. Melandru's Resilence is a nice stance, you get +2 hp regen and +1 energy regen for each hex and condtition on you.

Edge of extinction. It won't stop the hexes, but it will kill all of the gargoyles, which is better, I think.

Melandru's Resiliance is a good buffer though. With 2 hexes on you, which they cast in ascalon, you get +4 health regen and +2 energy regen. It won't make you immune, it won't stop you losing health, but it definately takes the edge off it.

Hmm, it seems theres no non elite and easy way to do this, alas. This does kinda make hexes seem very over powered.

Gargoyle hexes I have no problems with, like you said, I can kill them in 2 or 3 shots. My pain in the butt is that stupid Pacifism hex that gets thrown around in the Silver Peaks by the Crown of Thorns type monsters.
Nothing like sitting on your butt for 20 seconds unable to do anything while you get your butt handed to you
Anyone have anything that will stop THAT?

are you a warrior?
if so you can craft a lieutenants helmet at henge of denvari that pretty much halfs the duration of hexes cast on you.

Yeah, at the early stages of the game there really are very few effective ways to deal with hexes, so It's just as well they're not particularly dangerous or debilitating then. Monks become great at removing that crap later, but that's a while to wait, unfortunately. So, I guess you have to soldier on a nd take a break from gargoyle bashing for a few seconds...

EoE is great, I just slap on troll, and one of the evade stances to lure a big bunch of gargoylges and then barrage. Works a treat.
If you're farming outside Nolani, those bunches at the top of the stairs you can lure and kill in one go using EoE, just by doing the above.

I just had a thought...How about keeping Holy Veil on you? That way it takes twice as long for them to cast the hexes, and you already kill them in 2-3 hits you say..You'll probably "outrun" most of the hexes as it were.
